Arthur Dolk is specialized in transport, trade and insurance. He has extensive experience in the reefer transport of perishable goods (including fresh fruit and bananas). Arthur is familiar with the international trade, especially the international sales of goods, distribution, consignment and agency agreements. He focuses on dealing with cargo- and quality claims in inter alia the trade in fruits, dried fruits and nuts.
He also deals with a wide range of insurance issues, including fire, product recall, loss of valuables etc. He acts for both insurers and the insureds. Another specialty of Arthur is the undertaking of arbitration proceedings and his expertise in this field has been indispensable in his various executive and clerk functions (among others by TAMARA).
Arthur is an advocate since 1979, first in Rotterdam, then in Amsterdam, where he held office at the Amsterdam Insurance Exchange. He works as a special advisor to the Association of Seaport Forwarders and Logistics Service International (BZE) in Rotterdam. He is also a clerk in the Arbitration Board of the Dutch Association for the Trade in Dried Fruit, Spices and Allied Products (NZV).
